Genmaicha – or "brown rice tea" – is a Japanese brown rice green tea consisting of green tea mixed with roasted and popped brown rice.

It is sometimes referred to as "popcorn tea" because a few grains of the rice pop during the roasting process and therefore take on the look of popcorn. Its flavor is mild and combines the fresh grassy flavor of the green tea with the aroma of the roasted rice.

Taste strength: Mild
Ingredients: Japanese green tea mixed with roasted popped brown rice.

How to make: Boil up fresh cold water
Teacup: 300ml
80-85℃
Use 2 Teaspoons / 3 grams of tea
Steep for 2-4 min Good for 1-2 brews
