An organic sencha tea from Uji in southern part of Japan. Like many Japanese teas this sencha is steamed. After plucking it is about stopping the process of oxidation as soon as possible. The newly harvested leaves target the factory to scald, steamed in a machine called mush-ki. The needle-shaped leaves give a clear and healthy infusion with a rich and soft greenery. In general, sencha offers a subtle balance between astringency and umami sweetness, with a fresh smell.

Ingredients: Organic Japanese green sencha tea. Wazuka-cho, Kyoto, Japan

How to make: Boil up fresh cold water
Teacup: 300ml
Use 2 Teaspoons / 4 grams of tea
Steep for 1-2,5 min Good for 3 brews
