A very early harvest of the finest, most tender buds. Made only from tea buds covered with a silvery fur, this type of white tea is produced completely by hand and the least processed of all tea types. During the production the buds are placed on bamboo beds and dried outdoors in the shadow. Finally, the tea is heated a last time to ensure that the moisture level is low enough. These silvery, thin buds have a taste that is extremely clear, round and tender, with fresh notes of melon, and can handle exceptionally many brews. Best enjoyed on a quiet afternoon.
